After the latest celebrity feud in Nigeria that caused a social media meltdown on Monday February 23, 2015 between ex-label mates, Wizkid and Skales, more and more celebrities are speaking up on the issue. First it was Capital Hill music artist and producer, Tha Suspect who said both acts are children for the Twitter rant.
Now, former Kennis Music act, Jaywon has also spoken on the beef.
In a recent interview with HipTV, Jaywon who is now the new front man for New World Music, said:
‘Artistes just need to be very careful, because if Mr A says Wizkid is this and Mr B says Wizkid is that, the truth of the matter that is the industry itself is fake. It is all sounding somehow to me, because it’s beginning to sound like everyone is trying to bring this boy down, all of them are just complaining about him and it’s sounding somehow. I’m not friends with Wizkid, we are just cool. Is it not only Wizkid that is fake in the industry, the whole industry is fake, I have had issues with people a lot of times but most times I won’t talk about it because I don’t see why I should go on TV to say it or go on Twitter to tweet about it or say it on Instagram.’
He further added: If you have issues with Wizkid, go to his house and settle it or see him outside and talk to him face to face, we are all hustling to be elevated in this industry, no one should bring anyone down.’
