
A Nevada parole board has granted O.J. Simpson parole after he served 9 years in Prison. The 70-year-old former NFL player was originally sentenced in 2008 to 33 years imprisonment for kidnapping, armed robbery and assault with a deadly weapon in Las Vegas back in a 2007. He could be released as early as October 1, 2017.
After learning he would be released, Simpson, 70, was emotional, showing visible relief. As he left the hearing room and went back inside the prison, Simpson could be heard saying, “Oh! God! Oh!”
