British professional boxer Anthony Joshua will fight Bulgarian Kubrat Pulev for the IBF world heavyweight title on October 28 in Cardiff.
The champ born to Nigerian parents had been told he must face the IBF mandatory challenger Kubrat Pulev before December 2 or risk being stripped of that belt.
36-year-old Kubrat Pulev, who has just one loss in his 26 fights, claims Joshua has “no chance” against him.

Barring any last minute change, World heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua, will visit Nigeria in August.
The United Kingdom, UK, based Nigerian boxer will be visiting Nigeria on a three-day tour during which he would pay a courtesy call on the Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo in Abuja and the governors of Lagos and Ogun states respectively.
A statement issued by the organiser of the tour and Director of Peel Aston Global, Khomeini Bukhari, on Wednesday disclosed that Joshua is also expected to visit some royal fathers, including the Ooni of Ife, the Awujale of Ijebuland and the Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Okinolu.
