Akon Reacts To News He Gave French Montana A Fake Watch
Akon has finally reacted to news that he gave French Montana a fake watch for his birthday years ago.
The Konvict music CEO tweeted:
‘be careful what you read on entertainment mags and blogs. They are very desperate for clicks and hits these days’.
Akon Gave Me A Fake Watch For My Birthday – French Montana
French Montana has in an interview with Hot97 revealed that Akon gifted him a fake wristwatch for his birthday.
“Shout out to Akon,” he said. “He gave me a fake watch for my birthday.”
Akon had come to see him at his birthday, he said, and asked that he close his eyes to receive his present.
“He was like ‘Close your eyes I got a present for you’ and put a fake watch on my wrist.”
In Akon’s defense, he did not know the wristwatch was fake.
When French Montana confronted him he said he had no idea, as the watch was sold to him as an original.

American-born Senegalese singer, Aliaume Damala Badara Akon Thiam, better known as Akon was pictured with one of his wives at CDG airport in Roissy en France, France.
This is the latest wife of the businessman who practices polygamy – His other wives including Rosina Bruck and Tomeka Thiam. He also has multiple girlfriends and has several kids, online reports say.
