Rihanna covers the new issue of British Vogue wearing a floral-embellished coat from the spring/summer Dior collection and, oh, a cowboy hat. It works! In the accompanying interview, she credits her mom for helping foster her passion for fashion. “I was obsessed with everything she did then, everything she wore, her scent, her shoes and her scarves,” Rihanna says, somehow forgetting to mention the Stetsons though? “That was the glamour I wanted to be part of.”
And speaking of glamour, (glamour so glam it should be spelled out in all caps, G-L-A-M-O-U-R), in a photo released from her Vogue shoot (pictured above), RiRi’s wearing a pair of thigh-high denim boots. They’re part of her new footwear collaboration with famed designer Manolo Blahnik, which her Vogue cover also announces. And don’t wear them lightly; “these boots are dangerous,” she explains; they’re apparently so sexy and envy-inducing that they’ll get you kidnapped — perhaps even by Rihanna herself. “The day I see a woman in the street wearing my shoes… I am sorry for that woman because I’m going to literally run after her, shouting, ‘Stop! Selfie! Who are you? Where did you get them?’ I’m going to have a moment!”
That does sound like quite the scene, but it’d be worth it for the selfie, though, right?! In conclusion buy her boots (well, if you’ve got $4,000 to spare).
