I didn’t really understand it when I started menstruating. My Mom just gave me pads and I was very sheltered and didn’t know anything about it. I would lick the blood off my fingers and I didn’t know that was bad.
This full on progressed to eating my own used tampons and pads. As in, all of them. Cotton, plastic, whatever. Probably fucked with my insides. I think I knew it was gross at one point, but didn’t stop for at least a couple of years.
The compulsion was way too strong. I’ve stopped doing it because it’s disgusting, but the urge to eat my own blood hasn’t gone away fully. It’s been years. I can’t stop thinking about it. It’s probably one of the most disgusting things I’ve heard of anybody doing.
