The two continue to angle for a “Battle of Britain” heavyweight domestic clash – but it’s clearly only at the “trash-talking” stage at the minute.
Speaking to Sky Sports about Fury’s points win over Wladimir Klitschko back in 2015, Joshua said, “He didn’t throw a punch. He didn’t come to fight. He just walked around the ring for like 12 rounds, it’s boring.It’s not winning, it’s how you win.”
Joshua climbed off the canvas in April to record a stunning 11th round stoppage victory against Wladimir Klitschko to add the WBA and IBO titles to his IBF strap.

Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo is “upset” after being accused of tax fraud and wants to leave, a source close to the player told the BBC Sport.
Spanish prosecutors have accused Ronaldo, 32, of defrauding the authorities of millions of Euros in tax, which he has denied.
“He feels he’s honest, has good character and did everything OK,” added the source.
His Real contract has a €1bn (£874.88m) release clause.
The source added, “He’s very sad and really upset. He doesn’t want to stay in Spain. At this moment, he wants to leave.”

The long awaited and much talked about boxing match between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and UFC star Conor McGregor has now been made official and fixed for August 26, 2017 in Las Vegas.
Mayweather confirmed the fight on his Instagram account as he shared a video poster of both fighters with the caption, “It’s official”.
Then a few minutes later, McGregor tweeted ‘the fight is on’ posting a picture of himself next to one of Mayweather’s father Floyd Mayweather Sr.

Barring any last minute change, World heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua, will visit Nigeria in August.
The United Kingdom, UK, based Nigerian boxer will be visiting Nigeria on a three-day tour during which he would pay a courtesy call on the Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo in Abuja and the governors of Lagos and Ogun states respectively.
A statement issued by the organiser of the tour and Director of Peel Aston Global, Khomeini Bukhari, on Wednesday disclosed that Joshua is also expected to visit some royal fathers, including the Ooni of Ife, the Awujale of Ijebuland and the Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Okinolu.

The loss of Nigeria’s Super Eagles to the Bafana Bafana of South Africa in a Nation’s Cup Qualifier on Saturday has claimed the life of a man in Akure, the Ondo State capital.
The man, a retired soldier, had slumped moments after the Eagles conceded the second goal and was rushed to a hospital where he gave up the ghost.
The man identified only as Mr Nigeria, had left his residence at Ajipowo area in Akure for the Barracks to watch the match live on TV.
It was gathered that the man, described as an ardent Eagles’ fan, had watched the match at the Army Barracks in Akure alongside some friends.
His friends notified his family and rushed him to a private hospital after he collapsed. He died around midnight.
